About Rhea
I am an enthusiastic Violin tutor with 7 years of experience, having mentored around 150 students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching students at different levels has given me the ability to balance technical discipline with creative freedom.
My teaching approach begins with strong fundamentals—proper posture, bowing technique, scale practice, and finger accuracy. As students improve, I introduce advanced elements such as dynamics, articulation, phrasing, and musical interpretation.
I believe learning should be both structured and enjoyable. I make lessons engaging by selecting pieces that match students’ interests while still challenging them to grow. I also guide students on efficient practice methods to maximise improvement.
A unique quality I bring is my ability to explain complex techniques in simple language, making learning less intimidating. I strive to create confident, well-rounded musicians who not only play accurately but also perform with expression and heart.

In my violin classes, I focus on clear communication and step-by-step guidance. I make sure students understand each concept before moving forward. Since every learner is different, I adapt my teaching style to suit their pace and ability.
Some students need visual demonstrations, some need repeated listening practice, and others learn through structured exercises. I include additional subjects such as music theory, note reading, ear training, rhythm development, improvisation basics, and ensemble skills to provide complete musical education.
I use real-life case studies like concert preparation, orchestra coordination, and exam practice routines to show students how consistent practice leads to success.
I also guide them in posture correction, bow control, finger placement, tone production, and musical dynamics. My approach helps students become technically strong and emotionally expressive musicians.
