About Linda
Hi, I am Linda, an educator with over 23 years of experience helping students and professionals find their voice, develop their skills and achieve their goals.
I hold a Doctorate in Education from the University of Nottingham and am a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching. Throughout my career I have worked across secondary schools, sixth form colleges and universities in leadership roles focused on student development, careers and communication. I know what it takes to succeed academically and professionally, and I love helping others get there.
I am passionate about people. I genuinely enjoy the moment when something clicks for a learner when the right words finally come together, when a piece of writing starts to flow, or when someone walks into a presentation feeling confident instead of nervous. That moment is why I do what I do.
My sessions are relaxed and supportive, but also focused and purposeful. I will challenge you to do your best while making sure you always feel comfortable and encouraged. You are in safe, experienced hands.
Whether you are a student, a professional or simply someone who wants to communicate better, I would love to work with you.

I believe every learner has something valuable to build on, and my job is to help you find it. My approach is warm, practical and tailored to you. I do not use a one-size-fits-all method because no two learners are the same.
A typical session starts with a brief chat about what you need help with right now. We then work through it together in a clear, step-by-step way, reading, writing, practising or refining, depending on your goal. You will always leave a session knowing exactly what to do next.
With over 23 years in education and a Doctorate from the University of Nottingham, I bring both knowledge and genuine care to every session. I know how to explain things clearly, build your confidence and make progress feel achievable.
About My Lessons
My lessons are open to everyone, school and university students, working professionals and adults at any stage of life. Whether you need help with English, writing a dissertation, preparing a cover letter, telling your story, writing a letter or building your public speaking confidence, I will meet you where you are and help you get where you want to be. Sessions are flexible, friendly and focused entirely on your needs.
