About Milena
I give English classes for more than five years. Many of my students have done exchange after classes with me and managed to communicate properly outside Brazil. I have been also a teacher in graduate school in Ancient Philosophy in UNIFAI and already gave ancient Greek class at USP.

I am a PhD in Classical Literature, graduated at USP. My background in ancient Greek allowed me a deep research on the grammatical structures of the Portuguese language, and not only that, forced me to become fluent in English and French. I also lived abroad, which helped me to develop language skills. My English classes are focused on conversation. I try to make the student feel comfortable talking, even if he commits some grammatical errors. The grammatical part is developed during the lessons, through required exercises and essays, but it´s not my main goal. I use usually the Interchange method of Cambridge, in the case of English classes. Supplement the material with videos, music and other texts that are relevant to class. As for the Portuguese classes, preparing the material according to the needs of each student.
