About Noamyrn
I’m Noamyrn — a philosophy lecturer who treats thinking like a contact sport. I blend classic theory with modern chaos to show students that philosophy isn’t some museum exhibit; it’s a living toolkit for surviving and decoding the world we actually live in. I grew up analysing people, ideas, and arguments long before I knew the names for them. Now I teach philosophy the way students wish they’d been taught it: vivid, grounded, and tied directly to real life. I use politics, pop culture, social media trends, everyday dilemmas, and the wild nonsense of modern society to make concepts click in ways that stick. My style is conversational, sharp, and a bit mischievous. I ask uncomfortable questions. I poke holes in lazy assumptions. I push you to think deeper, not drier. My goal isn’t to make you recite theories — it’s to make you understand how thinking works, and how you can use it to navigate life with more clarity and power. If you want a tutor who makes philosophy feel alive, relevant, and sometimes a little too real, you’re in the right place.

Hi, I’m Noamyrn — your modern philosophy tutor who refuses to let ancient ideas gather dust. If you’re tired of lecturers who sound like they’ve been embalmed since Plato was alive, welcome home. I teach philosophy the way it was meant to be taught: alive, loud, relevant, and absolutely plugged into the chaos of modern life. We’ll unpack Aristotle through TikTok beefs, decode Kant using Uber drivers, drag Descartes into today’s identity debates, and use group chats, memes, conspiracy theories, and social media meltdowns to make every idea land. My approach is simple: if a concept can’t survive a real-world stress test, it’s not worth memorising. I specialise in: Modern applications of classical philosophy Critical thinking for real life (not just exams) Perception, reality, ethics, free will, identity & power Making difficult ideas feel effortless, funny, and actually useful If you want a tutor who keeps it honest, pushes your thinking, brings humour without dumbing anything down, and helps you build a mind that can cut through the noise — book a session. Let’s get your brain lifting heavier weights.
