I have a PhD degree in Shakespeare studies (University of Birmingham). I give literature, English, Theatre and film lessons to graduate and undergraduate students at home and online. I have experience teaching at an undergraduate level in the UK, and understand how university lessons are structured and how assignments are graded.
My lessons also involve helping students improve their writing and analytical skills. I like to keep my classes interactive and interesting, and I like to use multimedia tools.
I also provide guidance for dissertation and thesis writing. I speak fluent English, but I am also familiar with basic Mandarin.
I have about 4 years teaching experience for undergraduate level; and I have taught secondary school students for about 2 years. I have taught countless of undergraduate students and my students have all seen an improvement in their close analysis skills and writing abilities.
I also give lectures on Shakespeare to international secondary school students, as a form of English as foreign language learning. The reviews for my teaching, both from my mentors and students, have been positive.

I have known Eleine for many years, and we have studied and worked together in several big and small conferences. She is very intelligent, responsible, and kind. She has professional knowledge in Shakespeare, which can be seen from her academic writings and presentations. Also, she has taught Shakespeare in various institutes including university lectures and classes for public people at official organisations such as Shakespeare Birth Trust. This proves that she knows how to teach people from different areas and levels. In addition, she knows the importance of learning something new from others and sharing her idea and opinion with them. I believe this is one of the important attitudes for a good tutor. For these reasons, I highly recommend Eleine for your tutor. You will never regret!
It is my honour and pleasure to provide this recommendation for my dear friend and former fellow student Dr Eleine Ng. I first met her durng our time as Phd students at the University of Birmingham (UK), and we have had the opportunity to work together as teachers at the University and at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust (Stratford-upon-Avon, UK), teaching undergraduates and learners of English as a foreign language respectively. Eleine has always demonstrated excellent teaching skills, a keen interest in learning new teaching methods, and a passion for knowledge that is simply unparalleled. Her ability to connect with her students, and her talent at teaching various topics are also truly superior. In addition, she has excellent written and verbal communication skills, not to mention her ability to provide students with appropriate feedback. As a trustworthy person and a highly committed professional, Eleine is loved and respected by all of her students and colleagues. She will make an excellent tutor on Superprof, and I highly recommend her.
