About Angela
Anyone wanting to play the Oboe is welcome! I am an experienced oboist and a teacher. I have a Doctorate degree in oboe and minor in Music Theory (Yale, University of Southern California, and University of Texas at Austin) and I have been teaching since 2009. I am currently on faculty at colleges teaching students of all levels!

Oboe is not hard! My lessons are fun, interactive and intuitive. We will work from the basics, then build on to musical phrasing and techniques that will help you play the oboe with more confidence. We can also learn reedmaking!
