About Melyann
Future students, it’s a pleasure to greet you. My name is Melyann, I was born in the Dominican Republic but grew up in Spain. I am a Primary Education teacher specialized in teaching English.
I am passionate about teaching and about feeling that I can contribute a little grain of sand by helping others learn something new. I firmly believe in two-way learning; that is, the teacher teaches the students, and the students also teach the teacher. I truly enjoy both teaching and learning. I put effort into creating dynamic classes where we can learn together, and where humor and laughter also have their place.

This past year I worked as a Spanish language assistant at a school in Ireland. It has been a truly enriching experience to teach my language and culture (combining aspects of the Dominican Republic with those of Spain).
During this year, I have worked with students of different ages and levels (from 12–18 years old, as well as adults). I have prepared explanations adapted to their level, practical exercises, dynamic games, and even songs to promote Spanish learning in such a natural context as music.
I believe there is no such thing as a perfect methodology—it all depends on the student and their needs. I will look for the strategies necessary to help you achieve your goals.
