About Mariam A
I have my TEFL/TESOL certification - teaching English as a foreign language or teaching English to speakers of other languages. I have my bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts and extensive teaching experience in the field of English language education as a direct result of homeschooling my children. Being an immigrant with multicultural background; Persian (Farsi/Dari) and Arabic languages allows me to understand the struggles of newcomers to English, especially with pronunciation and accent reduction. Having lived in different parts of the world has given me a deeper understanding of language and its beauty across all cultures. Human beings are social creatures; we must learn how to communicate and acquisition is key to learning without anxiety or stress. I'm here to open the door for you to learn and grow with ease. Additionally, my expertise as an English teacher allows me to employ a variety of teaching strategies and techniques that cater to different learning styles. I can create engaging lesson plans, incorporate interactive activities, and provide constructive feedback to help my students progress in their language skills.
