My teaching method is filling in the gaps in your knowledge so that all links are connected with the topic.
My lesson structure is more of an informal approach, I want you to feel comfortable in my company and not feel inadequacy. Everything will be based around you and what you want to achieve and how we can work together to get that.
I'm an Engineering student, I'm currently in my 4th year of my double integrated masters course. Last year I was in industry working for the most successful semiconductor company in the world, Analog Devices.
I have been giving lessons for 6 months and my previous student passed with a Grade C (she was doing GCSE foundation maths so that is the maximum grade you can achieve), she was originally at Grade E when she first came to me as she had failed her maths GCSE for 2 years in a row.
Depending on the work ethic and commitment of the student I may decrease the rates as I want to be paid for the help I provide, not the confidence boost that I can give to students (Which may raise there grade).
GCSE: 4A (including maths), 5B (including English) and 2C
A in Mathematics(C1: 93/100, C2: 96/100, C3: 88/100 C4: 60/100, M1: 95/100, S1: 73/100)
B in Physics, C in Economics.
Currently sitting on a 1st class honours in my degree (Engineering Mathematics 94%)
I also achieved second in my year, receiving a reward from my university as well as being on the deans list.
I have taught university students (my colleagues) basic mathematics, integration, differentiation, geometry, trig identities etc, this was due to the variety of skill level in my degree in the first year.
