About Aaron
I am a Drama & Theatre Arts student who has worked in the education system for 3 years prior. I am experienced at teaching both English and Drama. My English qualifications currently go to GCSE with an A grade as well as developing a qualification in Supporting Learning & Education (Level 2) which I gained when training as a TA. My Drama qualification goes up to a 60 Credits Performing Arts Acting Qualfication (Distinction Star - equivalent to A*). I’m also experienced in teaching and planning my own Drama Lessons after working as a School’s Drama Teacher for a year.

My teaching method is a very laid-back & approachable perspective. I spend the first 3 minutes of a 1-1 session catching up or getting to know the student. Then follow the child’s lead when introducing work. If a child is struggling I will also take the same perspective but leave alternative options open for the child to discover. If a child is continuing to struggle with understanding I will then approach it with an example led by myself, then a joint attempt with the student at the same example, then an independent attempt from the student. I believe no topic should be left unnoticed and every second is vital as it can be any moment a student will being to understand the work.
