About Liz
I am a keen local artist with a passion for drawing, painting, and many other creative pursuits. I especially enjoy portrait work, both human and animal, but I have also created t shirt designs, promotional materials, and craft work [such as greetings cards].
I love to share my passion for drawing; I believe that everyone is capable of becoming an artist, once they have the tools and confidence. If you would like to learn how to draw, in a relaxed and productive environment, then please do not hesitate to contact me.
Seeing is believing, so I am always happy to provide samples of my work.

My teaching method is show, do, and review: I will explain a skill or technique, and then encourage you to try it for yourself. Once you have attempted the task, we will review your work together, and identify any areas for improvement. Art is about persistence: once you understand how to achieve the intended effect, the difference between a simple drawing and a superb piece of work is merely time and dedication.
