About Gemma
Have been giving lessons in drawing, painting and mixed-media for 3 years. Have taught students from Early-Years to 80 years old in mainly groups within mainstream schools, community arts groups and mental health units. Have a BTEC National diploma Art, Design and Graphics, BA (Honours) Contemporary Art and Visual Media and an Education and training Award to teach.

A friendly and professional individual who can communicate with a variety of people at all levels of art and design. My teaching is very much student centred. I coach and facilitate learners on comprehension and assess my students learning through projects, creating portfolios of work to measure the learning and to see the areas that students can develop or enhance within their creativity. I also listen to my students individually on what they would like to gain from the lessons so they can become successful artists and designers i know they can be.
