About Samuel
I've been a drummer sort of forever. Before Uni I was very active in a county music jazz orchestra and jazz small group as well as obtaining my distinction in grade 8 drums. But I made the relative mistake of doing a maths degree... I still kept up playing though, with Uni of Birmingham music society jazz events and occasionally in a bar, and sometimes church. At the time I did one paid jazzy/early pop wedding band (and now I'm percussion for a ceilidh band of some of the same people, hoping to be hired for more). Afterwards I returned to Bicester where I joined a small rock band.

Drum lessons for up to grade 4 or 5. Very happy to teach tailored and creative route or we can use one of the Trinity syllabus grade materials. I can teach a wide variety of styles to a basic level so you can do what you like and find your preference. Also will teach basic stick technique and rudiments on pads and applying that to the drums.
We sadly have to use my electric kit as I have neighbours (but it will have real shells just with mesh heads). After grade 5ish level I recommend getting someone with more experience.
