About Ben
I am a recent graduate living in South London. I have a huge passion for music and really enjoy both playing and listening to it. I frequently go to jams and think that the jazz jam scene in London is really amazing at the moment. There is so much talent and opportunity to experience and learn from other amazing players. I also am interested in DIY speaker building and am attempting to custom build a set of speakers at the moment.

I am an experienced drummer with a background spanning a range of styles and performance settings. I have completed drum grades 1 through 8, which provided me with a solid technical foundation and a deep understanding of rhythm, timing, and technique. My performance experience includes touring the Alps with a high-energy function band, playing at iconic venues and festivals, and regularly gigging in London with my own jazz band, where I bring a creative, improvisational approach. My lessons are tailored to each student’s level and goals, focusing on essential skills such as timing, dynamics, and expressive techniques. Whether you’re a beginner looking to master the basics or an advanced player refining your style, I aim to make each session engaging, practical, and aligned with your musical journey.
