About Joe
I have played in bands, (live and on recordings), for over 30 years, since I was 15. I have travelled and performed to audiences in the UK, Europe, parts of America and even one trip to Russia. I also worked for several years as a circus drummer. I have a BMus degree and extensive experience teaching mainstream and SEND students in schools, children and adults in private lessons and many years experience offering drumming workshops for small and very large corporate groups.

Anyone and everyone can learn to play, but not everyone learns in the same way. Some people thrive simply learning songs, some prefer to take graded exams, some people learn better with aural cues, some prefer visual, some like to focus greatly on technique and technical exercises, some prefer a more general approach. I will work with you to find your own learning path and from there we will cover all aspects of playing the instrument from how to hold a stick to how to play a Stadium tour!
