About Oliver
I’m a Leeds-based drummer with over 13 years of experience recording, gigging and playing drums. I have a BA in Popular Music from Leeds Conservatoire.
I’ve spent the last few years working in Primary Education, so my lessons are suitable for all ages and experience levels! I’ve undertaken various industry-standard training in education, including lesson planning, safeguarding and working with SEND children, ensuring my lessons are a safe and welcoming place for everyone. I also have an active Enhanced DBS check.
My teaching revolves around having fun, being consistent with your playing and, most of all, loving music.

My drum lessons are relaxed, practical and tailored to each student's needs. Whether you’re picking up the sticks for the first time or looking to improve your playing, we’ll spend time working on things that you actually want to learn! From playing your favourite songs and developing technique to improving timing and confidence behind the kit, the aim is to make every lesson enjoyable while helping you become a better, more confident drummer. After having lessons for years, I would recommend weekly lessons, in order to maintain consistency with your playing and development.
