About Ellen
Originally from the North of Ireland, I have recently graduated from Durham University. There I studied a combined degree of Criminology and History. My dissertation explored the experiences of women in heterosexual relationships with police officers in light of problematic elements of the police institution such as sexism and mental/physical health problems. My favourite history modules covered the history of the British Empire, the Cold War, and the history of Korea (1392-).
