The first tutoring session will be based around ascertaining what the student does not understand within the topic and what the key issues with their understanding are. A brief overview of the topic can also be given if the student thinks that this will be of assistance before the sessions are more focused on the problem areas highlighted. After each problem area has been addressed, I like to finish by discussing how this topic can appear in an exam and tips relating to answering the exam questions, as well as further reading which may be of assistance.
I graduated from Durham University with a First Class LLB degree in law and won the Durham Commercial Law Prize for gaining the highest mark in my Commercial Law examination. I am currently studying the LLM LPC at BPP Holborn. I am also a Future Trainee at an elite American corporate law firm.
I will be able to assist students in both the general understanding of a topic and any problem areas, as well as exam preparation and technique.
The subjects I focus on are Contract Law, Commercial Law, Company Law, IP Law (specifically copyright), Law and Medicine, and Media Law. I also have experience in proof reading dissertations, including OSCOLA footnotes.
