About Tom
I am an economist, on track for a 1st class degree, I am bilingual in both French and English. I have thorough experience with banking internships, requiring strong levels of numerical proficiency. I have just finished my 1st year at Durham University, and attained 2A* and an A at A level, and 10A* at GCSE.

For maths, I base my classes around the idea of repetition and practice. The old saying you either get maths or you don't is a myth, Maths is an array of different processes and methods, and by learning them through practice it becomes much like anything else we practice and learn to understand. I feel constant talking and interaction is key, so I am always asking the student questions as well as always taking them. I believe in an approachable and kind approach as learning has to be as enjoyable as possible, otherwise nothing will ever go in!
