About Megan
I'm Megan, a Politics and International Relations student at Durham University, where I achieved the highest average grade in my first year. I have experience tutoring students of varying ages across English Literature, English Language, History, Politics, and International Relations, and I tailor every session to the individual needs of my student.
Beyond my degree, I've developed strong communication and mentoring skills through a range of leadership roles — including President of Durham's Public Speaking and Debating Society, where I coach members in argumentation and critical thinking, and Head Freshers' Representative, where I led a team of 60 to support over 600 students. I'm also a published researcher and Policy Fellow at the Pinsker Centre, which means my knowledge extends well beyond the classroom.
I believe the best tutoring builds genuine understanding, not just exam technique. My lessons are relaxed, flexible, and built around you — whether you're looking to improve your essay writing, get to grips with a difficult concept, or push for the top grades.

I've tutored students of varying ages and tailor every lesson entirely to you. Lessons are fully flexible in length and structure, whether you need 30 minutes of focused exam practice or a longer session working through an essay or tricky topic.
As President of a Public Speaking and Debating Society and a published researcher, I bring both academic rigour and strong communication skills to every session — helping you build real understanding, sharper essay technique, and genuine confidence.
