About Natasha
I'm a 2026 Durham University English literature graduate looking to tutor English at GCSE and A Level.
I know first-hand how tricky English can seem and how overwhelming it feels to learn something where there are 'no wrong answers'. I'm big on getting down to the actual nitty-gritty of how English GCSEs and A Levels mark papers and the concrete techniques you can use to ensure you get the best possible outcome.
I'm warm and approachable, having tutored ages 11-16 in person previously. There is no question too silly and I would love to help you unlock your full potential!

Lessons will focus primarily on exam technique and essay writing. We tend to think that you need to completely understand a text before you can write an essay on it- however, exam essays have a structure. If you can nail how an essay works independent from a text, like a maths formula, you'll be able to apply it to anything and get great results.
In the first lesson, we'll talk through overall aims for exams and things you feel are particular problem points. Then, I'll ask you to bring your most recent essay you've written in class and we'll assess its strengths and weaknesses. From there, I'll build a personalised essay crash-course to help you succeed!
