About Cerys
Hi I'm Cerys and I am currently at Durham University studying English Literature, History and Classics. I have been tutoring since I was 16, I started with younger siblings of friends and neighbours and quickly expanded to lots of students in my area because I was so highly recommended! I once struggled to find the enjoyment in my studies and it was only with the help of my own tutors when I was younger that I unlocked my love for academia. I really want to help students who are getting left behind and forgotten in schools, I want them to have confidence and enjoy learning - never again will they have the oportunity to learn all these wonderful subjects at the same time.

I have over 5 years experience teaching students from all backgrounds and all learning styles. I tailor my lessons to each student and what they need so that they can get the most out of every lesson and come away feeling confident and in love with their studies. I had tutors all throughout my studies and I would not have acheived A*'s without them. I hope to unlock a love and a passion for learning that schools so often ignore. My students enjoy their lessons because I listen to them and what they need, I want them to enjoy learning! I have tutored students with learning disabilities, a lack of interest, every kind of student imaginable and have always managed to unlock potential in each because it matters a lot to me that my students reach their fullest potential.
