About Mary
I am an experienced theatre practitioner, public speaker and qualified vocational and personal development coach. I have been training actors of all ages for over 25 years including Stagecoach, Pauline Quirk Academy, the prestigious Oxford Royale Summer Schools and privately tutoring students for Lamda exams. I run a theatre training company, in our first year during lockdown all our students passed level 3 or 4 with distinction (Trinity College). I have safeguarding certificate level 3 and a DBS. I have a very holistic approach and am particularly skilled at identifying and drawing out potential in students - my hallmark is to give them confidence in performance, public speaking and communication, as well as to teach how to play a character with authenticity and safely (Methods:Uta Hagen, Boal, Spolin (Improvisation), Guideposts (Shurtleff). I can equip for auditions, exams or performance/presentation. I am offering Grades 4-8 (min age 12).
