About Ayra
Hi, my name is Ayra! I am an early graduate with over 3 years of volunteer teaching experience, and I love helping students feel confident, supported, and excited about learning. I believe learning should be a positive experience where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress.
My goal as a tutor is to make English enjoyable and approachable by creating lessons that are engaging, encouraging, and personalized to each student’s needs. I use a patient and friendly teaching style that helps students build their skills while also developing confidence in their abilities.
I have experience working with students at different learning levels, and I adapt my lessons to match each learner’s goals, whether they are improving reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, essay skills, or overall communication. I focus on making lessons interactive and fun so students stay motivated and look forward to learning.
I work with students from 6 years old to 26, no matter the level. I have a true passion for literature and English, and I want to share that passion by teaching.
As a tutor, I am dedicated, encouraging, and committed to helping students reach their full potential while making English a subject they can enjoy and feel proud of.

My approach as a tutor is centered around creating a supportive, personalized, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. With 3 years of volunteer teaching experience and as an early graduate, I understand the importance of adapting lessons to each student's learning style, goals, and current skill level, because every student is different and requires different approaches.
For English lessons, I focus on improving reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, vocabulary, essay structure, and communication skills. I believe in helping students understand the reasoning behind concepts rather than simply memorizing information, so they can apply their skills independently.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the student's goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. We then review previous material, introduce new concepts through examples and explanations, practice together with exercises or writing activities, and finish with feedback and strategies for continued improvement. Each lesson is customized to ensure students are progressing at a comfortable but challenging pace.
What sets me apart is my combination of academic achievement, early graduation experience, and years of working with students through volunteer teaching. I understand the challenges students face and aim to make learning less stressful and more enjoyable by building confidence alongside academic skills.
My lessons are designed for students at various levels, from elementary learners developing foundational English skills to high school students preparing for exams, essays, and coursework, as well as university students looking to strengthen academic writing, communication, and advanced English skills.
