About Elizabeth

Hi, I'm Elizabeth, I'm a mother to an amazing boy who is autistic and has ADHD. My desire to understand his world and make life as smooth as possible for him led me to dive deep into research on these conditions and communication methods.

Over the years, I’ve pursued various courses to expand my expertise, equipping myself with tools to support not just my son but also other children and their families. Watching my son overcome communication barriers inspired a profound passion in me: to empower other parents and children to achieve the same.
Through this work, I aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where young, non-verbal autistic children can unlock their potential, express themselves, and reduce frustrations. My mission is to provide every child I work with the opportunity to thrive and every parent the reassurance that progress is possible.

About the lesson

I provide 1:1 Early Years tuition for young people with Autism. My sessions include fun and educational activities through play, I lead in providing assistance with PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) whilst developing their communication, early learning, play skills and attention. I’m passionate and committed to seeing children succeed by helping them understand the fundamentals all the way to them reaching their personal goals.

My Skills:
• Ability to make education fun through play • Can support with Speech and Communication • Good understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder • Good understanding of Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder • Good experience of strategies in developing a child's attention, early learning, self-help and play skills. • Develop visual supports.

Each session typically lasts for 1-2 hours.

The package includes a PECS communication book, picture cards, and visual supports/aids
