Edmund has been my daughters' violin teacher for over a year and I have been very pleased with his teaching. He is motivated, keen for his students to do well and provides excellent support in the build up to music exams. He is also has a friendly and chatty personality and makes the lessons enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Edmund to others.
Edmund has been teaching violin to our daughter Victoria for years. She is now doing her grade 6 and is only 13 years old.
We met him when he was a replacement teacher and were so impressed by how he connected with our daughter and his teaching style that we asked him to become her main teacher.
He is very good with children and finds a way to push them and make them overcome their fears. He has been there at each grade exam and prepared our daughter very well. He is a very talented and very sought after live performer, so we feel privileged to have him. Would recommend him without any hesitation.Edmund is an excellent teacher who knows how to get the best out of his students. He is really encouraging and teaches to a very high standard. My daughter moved to Edmund from another teacher back in November 2022. In merely 4 months, I have seen great improvement in my daughter’s technique and attitude. It is a total pleasure listening to her playing violin. Edmund worked extensively with my daughter for her exams which resulting in my daughter achieving distinction. He pushes/challenges were needed and is stimulating intellectually and musically. I have no hesitation in recommending Edmund.
My son has been learning from Edmund for around 1.5 years now, and we've really appreciated Edmund's structured approach to lessons, his enthusiasm for teaching (which has helped motivate my son) and his dedication to ensuring that my son learns a range of key techniques while progressing towards the exams.
