About Hugo
My name is Hugo and i would be more than happy to be your tutor. I hold 5 A-levels in History, Biology, Economics, Politics, and General studies, I studied my BA in Anthropology at the University of Sussex (focus on economic history and material cultures), followed by an M.dip at SOAS in economics preparing me for my recently completed M.Sc in Economics. I have been giving private lessons since i was 16 years of age and i am now 30 years old working with people of all ages. My dynamic background makes me well suited to explaining economic concepts in an easy to digest manner in addition to offering one of the most comprehensive multi angled economic histories and macroeconomic analysis around.

I try to approach a topic in a very multi faceted manner customized to each learner. I am aware that different students respond to different stimuli better and as such i am always prepared to offer a range of sources from which to draw examples. I like to use a discursive approach for lessons generally engaging a student in critical thought as much as possible, then foster these ideas with a range of outlets (Film , article, organizations, etc) that can be investigated by the student following a lesson to allow for a great depth of understanding.
