About Arden
I hold a Master’s degree in Economics and have over a decade of experience teaching both academic and applied economics. My teaching philosophy is grounded in clarity, connection, and curiosity. I believe that every economic concept — from supply-demand curves to fiscal policy — can be understood when linked to something real. My students often describe my sessions as “thought-provoking storytelling mixed with analytics,” which is exactly what I aim for. Over the years, I’ve worked with learners preparing for exams, policy studies, and research projects. My economics lessons begin with one question — why do people make the choices they do? From that foundation, we explore how individuals, businesses, and governments allocate limited resources in an unlimited world. Each class connects theory to reality, helping learners grasp not just how the economy functions, but why it behaves the way it does. I use storytelling, data interpretation, and current case studies to turn abstract models into living examples. Whether it’s understanding inflation through grocery prices or analysing policy shifts in global trade, students see how economics touches every part of daily life. Graphical analysis, debates, and scenario-based discussions are core to my lessons. I encourage learners to think critically, question assumptions, and apply logical reasoning to real problems. This creates deep understanding rather than rote recall. By blending logic with context, students learn how economic systems respond to change, how policies influence markets, and how financial trends shape societies. Each session builds a clearer picture of how economics governs progress.
