My teaching method is about equipping students with the fundamental skills necessary to give them the confidence to take on any academic challenge present in the A Level Mathematics course. This method typically starts with a knowledge check of skills required when starting work on a topic before introducing the core concept, its uses in the real world and some basic questions that I go through step by step. I would then ensure my students have a technique they are comfortable using by giving them practice questions before building on this knowledge with extension questions designed to stretch the highest achievers.
