About Sangeetha
My interest in economics began with curiosity about why countries grow differently and how policies shape everyday life. This led me to complete a B.A in Economics and later an M.Sc in International Economic Development, where I explored both theoretical models and global economic realities. Over the past 10 years, I have guided students in building strong understanding and confidence in economics.
I teach with warmth, clarity, and an emphasis on real-world relevance. My approach focuses on helping students understand concepts deeply rather than memorizing diagrams. I encourage learners to ask questions freely, think critically, and develop strong reasoning skills through structured explanation and practice.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with economics through reading global financial reports, following policy developments, and exploring economic research. Teaching economics is rewarding because I see students grow from confusion into confidence, gaining knowledge that supports both academic success and lifelong understanding.

Economics becomes much more engaging when students realize it is not just about graphs or definitions, but about understanding how societies make choices with limited resources. My lessons focus on microeconomics, macroeconomics, supply and demand, market structures, inflation, economic growth, and government policy through clear and relatable explanation. I help students connect theory to real-world events so the subject feels meaningful rather than abstract.
Lessons are carefully adapted to each learner’s level. Beginners build confidence by learning core concepts such as scarcity, opportunity cost, basic demand-supply reasoning, and simple economic diagrams. Intermediate students strengthen understanding of elasticity, market competition, fiscal and monetary policy, and analytical writing. Advanced learners focus on exam-level evaluation, economic data interpretation, deeper macroeconomic models, and constructing strong arguments in essays. Each session includes practice questions, discussion, and structured feedback.
Economics lessons also help students develop critical thinking and awareness of the world around them. Learners often gain confidence when they can understand news, policy debates, and financial decisions through an economic lens. My goal is to help students feel capable, informed, and motivated in mastering economics.
