About Hailey
I earned a B.A. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Applied Economics, and I have 8 years of experience teaching students from high school to university level. Over my career, I have guided learners through foundational and advanced topics in both microeconomics and macroeconomics, integrating data analysis and real-world examples to strengthen conceptual understanding. My teaching emphasises patience, clarity, and fostering analytical thinking to help students develop both competence and confidence. I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style, using case studies, interactive discussions, and applied exercises to make concepts relevant and engaging. I focus on developing critical thinking, quantitative reasoning, and economic literacy that can be applied to academic, professional, and personal contexts. Beginners are introduced to foundational concepts with clear explanations, visual diagrams, and relatable examples. Intermediate learners analyse quantitative data, interpret policy impacts, and explore economic modelling. Advanced students engage in research-based projects, policy simulations, and advanced macroeconomic and microeconomic analysis. Each lesson balances theoretical understanding with practical application to cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Economics education goes beyond memorisation; it cultivates analytical reasoning, decision-making, and strategic thinking.
