About Felix
Hi, I'm Felix. I'm currently a 19 year old who just finished my first year at the University of Warwick, studying a BSc in Economics. Maths has always been a subject I've been interested in, achieving A*'s in Maths and Further Maths in both GCSEs and A-Levels. I believe I understand how to effectively teach students, giving them confidence and understanding, ideally giving them a newfound passion for maths. Outside of my work, I enjoy going to the gym, playing tennis, and training for my triathlons.

As a student myself, I understand what's effective and what's not when it comes to revising. My goal with my students is to give them the confidence and understanding needed to approach unfamiliar questions in actual exams. My teaching approach revolves around 2 main steps. Firstly, I ensure the student has a concrete understanding of the topic and understands not just how to apply a concept, but why it works. Once I'm sure the student is confident in this regard, I help walk them through questions where they are able to apply their knowledge in exam style settings. My lessons are typically 60 minutes, where I will be explaining concepts to the student, helping them work through practice problems and giving constructive feedback. I achieved A* A* in Maths and Further Maths at A-Level, along with a 9 in GCSE Maths. I am now studying a BSc Economics at the University of Warwick, where I've chosen to further specialise in mathematical optional modules.
