About Pauline
I have experience spanning decades of teaching and supporting children’s learning, and I know the Curriculum for Excellence well. As a mother of four, I understand that families want children to become confident, capable learners who are well prepared for assessments and exams in the years ahead. My approach is warm, engaging and encouraging, while also being structured and focused on real progress. I aim to help each child build strong foundations, develop confidence and become an effective, independent executor of their learning.

I offer engaging, interactive one-to-one maths lessons for primary pupils, tailored to each child’s learning style. My approach is calm, friendly and supportive, helping children feel comfortable and confident. I use a variety of techniques including visual methods, practical examples and repetition to help learning stick for life. Lessons are structured but flexible, focusing on building core skills, closing gaps and making maths feel clear and achievable. Sessions are typically one hour and adapted to suit each learner’s pace and needs.
