About Dom
I am not a novice when it comes to teaching English; I have taught young children in the past during au pair placements abroad.
I am new to adult teaching, but I am a confident, patient and caring individual, and this will come across in my teaching method.
I can teach from early years right through GCSEs and A Levels. I am confident that with my lessons, you will achieve your aims.

I am a native English speaker, using my first language at a high level of ability. By this I mean, I don't just speak it, I understand it. I am able to pass that knowledge to you so that you may also speak the language with confidence and fluency.
My teaching technique is laid back and relaxed, yet efficient and firm. I will assess your current level, discuss with you what you expect from me. We will tailor your lesson to fit you and the pace at which you want to learn.
I will set homework assignments where necessary and give you regular feedback on your progress. It is important to me that you learn at a pace that suits you. This way I can teach more efficiently and you will achieve your goals that much quicker.

Details
At the moment, as I am just starting, I am doing all lessons, regardless of level or ability at 30 pounds an hour.
Later there will be specific rates reflective of the age, level and ability of the student.
I will update with changes in rates in due course.
The fee for one hour of teaching plus travel is currently set at a maximum of 40 pounds an hour. That is the lesson and travel together. However, this rate reflects travelling to the furthest point of my teaching area. If it is closer, then we can negotiate that fee.
