About Thomas
I studied English at college and degree level, achieving top grades. Following CELTA, I taught EFL and IELTS for 6 months in a Swansea-based school. There, I taught many Arabic and European students. I have also taught mainly Asian students, online.
My feedback has been very positive, with students praising my level of care, attention and sympathy with learning a foreign language. I invariably built good rapport with those I teach.

Using Skype, I can teach professionals, students studying for IELTS, or anyone who wants to become a more confident and natural speaker of English as a foreign language. When teaching online, I place emphasis on spoken/conversational English, with the pronunciation, stress and intonation of words and sentences being most important. I have a good understanding of how a student's native language can affect their articulation of English, and the likely problems they will face.
I enjoy giving a well-structured lesson, but also a lesson that is fun, effortless and spontaneous. I always ensure my students leave my lessons feeling like they have really learnt something.
