About David
I'm an English teacher with 20 years of experience, and I offer online EFL classes for foreign students and grammar lessons for natives. My YouTube channel has more than 2000 English lessons, which have been viewed more than 14 million times; I am the author of 4 English study guides, which are available as free PDF downloads in four of my courses. Many of the courses that I have made remain bestsellers to this day. Having worked in schools, universities, and businesses all over Moscow, I am a competent Russian speaker, so I know the frustrations, the difficulties, and the joys of learning a foreign language. I have also worked for the Department of Education, preparing native English teachers for grammar in the classroom.

I have made hundreds of hours of video lectures in which I explain tenses, conditionals, modals, prepositions, articles, determiners, gerunds, infinitives, participles, passive, and many more topics. I have another course that focuses on phrasal verbs, and yet another that focuses on vocabulary. I expect my students to watch the lectures and complete the exercises for homework; then, during the lessons, we do speaking activities so that the student has a chance to activate the knowledge acquired. I am a firm believer in the communicative approach to language learning, so the student must speak English as much as possible in each and every class.
