About Mike
My music teaching experience has been mostly casual, teaching friends at home and at university. However I have experience teaching English to children as well as experience teaching entrepreneurship fundamentals to adults which has allowed me to develop patience and strong lesson planning skills.

Over the past 10 years I have gained experience playing bass in church services, musical theatre productions, big bands and party bands for weddings. This has given me a solid grounding in music reading as well as improvising across a wide variety of genres. Whether you want to learn basic bass lines for pop songs or learn the technique for slap bass, I would be delighted to work with you to help you progress towards your goals!
