About Maylynn
I teach elementary students and have the skill of breaking things down step by step until the students understand the target skill. I also teach an after-school drawing club, where we focus on proportions and quality of work. I graduated from undergrad with a degree in art therapy, and my practice centers on that. Creating art is therapeutic, and some students need help with the pressure of wanting a perfect product. Improving skills and confidence at the same time is my specialty.

As a tutor, I hone in on a specific goal a student has and support growth in that area. I like to form a connection with students, so I build rapport by getting to know them. If the goal is to draw better, I would teach them skills and practice drawing something they're interested in. I like to work with the individual student instead of copying and pasting the same lesson.
