About Mariam
My name is Mariam, and I am a professional vocalist and active opera singer with extensive performance experience. I regularly participate in competitions and have been recognized with several awards, which reflect both my technical training and artistic dedication.
Music has been a central part of my life for many years, and my journey as a performer has deeply shaped my approach to teaching. Being on stage has taught me not only how to master vocal technique, but also how to connect with an audience, express emotion, and perform with confidence skills that I bring into every lesson.
While my background is rooted in opera and classical training, I strongly believe that good vocal technique is universal. It can be applied to any genre, whether classical, pop, or contemporary music. My goal is to help each student discover their own voice and develop it in a natural, healthy, and sustainable way.
As a teacher, I am patient, attentive, and supportive. I understand that every student is different, with their own strengths, challenges, and goals. That’s why I take an individual approach to each lesson, adapting my methods to suit the student’s needs and personality.

Each lesson is carefully designed to support your individual voice, goals, and musical preferences. Whether you are just starting out or already have experience, the structure of the lesson will be adapted to help you progress in a comfortable and effective way.
We begin by focusing on the foundations of healthy singing. You will learn proper breathing techniques and how to use your body to support your voice naturally, without tension or strain. This is essential for building a strong, stable voice and avoiding fatigue.
From there, we work on developing your vocal technique through targeted exercises. These help to expand your vocal range, improve tone quality, and give you better control over your voice. Over time, you will notice increased flexibility, strength, and confidence in your singing.
A key part of the lesson is working on songs that you enjoy. This allows you to apply technique in a practical and expressive way. Together, we will focus on:
• accurate pitch and intonation
• musical phrasing and dynamics
• clear diction and pronunciation
• emotional expression and interpretation
I also guide you in understanding your voice how it works, what suits it best, and how to use it efficiently. This awareness helps you become more independent and confident as a singer.
The atmosphere during lessons is always supportive and relaxed. I believe that progress happens best when you feel comfortable, free, and motivated. Mistakes are a natural part of learning, and I encourage you to explore your voice without fear.
Lessons are held online and include clear guidance, demonstrations, and feedback. You will also receive exercises and tips to practice between lessons, so your progress continues outside of class.
My goal is not only to help you improve your voice, but also to help you enjoy singing, feel confident, and express yourself freely through music.

Perfect! Excellent instructor. I like how she really focuses on technique and can really identify issues. She's also great if you're a songwriter because she can immediately translate what you wrote into piano after you sing it. It's really helpful for me because I enjoy working on my own songs when I practice and am honestly not the best singer, so hearing translated into the exact notes I'm hearing in my head is helpful for getting the pitch right.
