About Daniel
I’m Coach Daniel James, a highly experienced basketball coach with a track record of developing players at all levels—from youth beginners to professional athletes. As the Head Coach of London Elite U16s Premier, I bring years of expertise in skill development, game strategy, and player mentorship. I have coached NBA players, European pros, NCAA Division 1 athletes, and elite prep school players in the US. My experience includes roles as an Aspire Super Region Coach, leading skills workshops for Basketball England’s ETP (England Talent Programme), and previously serving as Head Coach at the University of Hertfordshire BUCS Premier Team, where I helped them win their first-ever conference title. I have also worked as an Assistant Coach for the London Lions, spent three seasons as a Player Development Coach in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), and developed top-level talent at St. Thomas More Prep School in the USA—a programme that has produced numerous NCAA and professional players.
