About Iris
I am a motivated Guitar tutor with 15 years of experience teaching music to high school students, college students, and adults who want to learn guitar in a simple and effective way. During this time, I have successfully guided around 300 students.
My teaching philosophy focuses on clear instruction, consistent practice, and positive encouragement. I believe that anyone can learn guitar with the right guidance and dedication.
In my lessons, students learn important skills such as chords, rhythm patterns, strumming techniques, finger exercises, and basic music knowledge. These fundamentals help students play smoothly and confidently.
I also guide students in learning songs they enjoy, which helps them stay motivated and excited about learning.
Teaching hundreds of students has helped me understand how to adjust lessons according to different learning needs and goals.
Many of my students have performed at school and college events, which is always rewarding to see.
My goal is to help students develop guitar skills, confidence, and a lifelong interest in music.

My teaching approach for Guitar focuses on clear communication, understanding different learning styles, and helping students learn music in a practical way. I first understand the student’s level, interests, and goals so that I can design lessons that suit their learning needs. In my classes, students learn essential Guitar techniques such as chords, strumming patterns, rhythm control, scales, and finger exercises.
I explain each concept in simple steps so students can practise comfortably and build confidence. I also use real-life musical examples from songs and performances so students can understand how Guitar techniques are used in real music. In addition to Guitar lessons, I introduce related subjects such as music theory basics, ear training, rhythm development, improvisation basics, and songwriting.
These subjects help students gain a deeper understanding of music and improve their creativity. My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students can steadily improve their Guitar skills and enjoy the process of learning music.
