About Owen
With 12 years of experience and nearly 150 students trained, I am dedicated to providing quality Saxophone education for learners at all levels. I work with school students, college learners, and hobbyists who want to improve their musical skills.
My classes begin with strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, tone development, articulation clarity, and finger accuracy. I gradually introduce advanced concepts like dynamics, phrasing, improvisation, and performance preparation. Music theory and ear training are included to ensure complete understanding.
I believe clear communication and patience are essential in teaching. I adapt lessons based on individual progress and provide regular feedback for improvement.
One of my unique skills is helping students overcome nervousness and perform confidently. My aim is to develop disciplined, expressive, and confident saxophone players who enjoy their musical journey.

My Saxophone teaching style combines structured learning and supportive guidance through Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I focus on developing steady airflow, strong embouchure, and consistent tone production. I break down complex techniques into simple steps, making learning manageable and effective.
Students practise scales, arpeggios, articulation exercises, and rhythm studies in a systematic way. I assign regular practice goals to build accountability and discipline. I provide constructive feedback to help students improve both technically and musically.
Integrity ensures I teach sincerely and professionally at every stage. Besides Saxophone, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, and basic Improvisation to strengthen overall musicianship.
