About Alfie
As a violin instructor with 12 years of experience, I have taught school students, college students, and working professionals with different levels of experience and musical interests. I enjoy helping students express themselves through music while building confidence and discipline.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, motivation, and student-centered learning. I believe that every learner deserves personalized guidance and lessons that support their individual goals. My approach helps students make steady progress while enjoying the learning process.
Over the years, I have successfully helped many students improve their technical skills and become more confident performers. One of my greatest achievements has been seeing students develop a lifelong appreciation for music.
My mission is to inspire students to reach their full potential and enjoy the beauty of music throughout their lives.

My teaching approach is based on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe that every student has the ability to learn and grow when provided with the right guidance and encouragement. I create a positive and comfortable environment where students feel confident to ask questions and express themselves freely.
For violin lessons, I focus on building strong fundamentals such as posture, bowing techniques, finger placement, rhythm, and note reading. I explain concepts in simple English and use step-by-step methods to help students learn effectively. I also encourage regular practice and provide constructive feedback to help students improve steadily.
In addition to violin, I teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm training. These subjects help students develop a deeper understanding of music and become more complete musicians.
My goal is to help students gain confidence, develop discipline, and enjoy a lifelong connection with music.
