About Emma

I taught for 12 years as a Primary school teacher and have 10 years experience tutoring.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I have an enhanced DBS check.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
I mainly tutor children who are home educated and many of my sessions are during school hours, however, I do have a session available on a Thursday from 3.30-5pm.

I am a friendly and sociable mum of two young children.

I teach all primary (4-11) subjects but specialise in English.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BA honours degree in Primary education with QTS.
- How much do you charge?
£25 an hour for 1-1 tuition.
£15 an hour for first lesson.
£35 an hour for group lessons.
- Where do you teach?
Children can come to my home in Christchurch (near to Bournemouth).
I am willing to travel up to 5 miles.
- When are you available?
I am available Tuesday - Friday between 10am and 2pm during term time.
I can do 3.30pm - 5pm on a Thursday.
I can do Monday - Friday 9am-5pm during school holidays.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach ages 4-11.
I also teach grammar test entry exam.
