About Claire
I am a motivated ESL tutor with 12 years of experience teaching high school and college students. I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential in English. I have worked with around 150 to 200 students, which has helped me understand different learning styles.
I focus on clear explanations and practical learning so students can use English confidently. A key milestone in my career has been helping students move from basic understanding to fluent communication. Many of my students have improved their confidence and academic results.
My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and interactive. I encourage regular practice and active participation. I am committed to helping every student succeed.

My ESL teaching methodology is built on the idea that consistent practice and real-life exposure lead to better learning. I use real-life examples and case studies to show students how English is used in daily situations such as conversations, emails, presentations, and social interactions. This makes lessons more relevant and useful.
I focus on motivation by encouraging students, supporting their efforts, and helping them build confidence step by step. I include problem-solving activities such as role-plays, discussions, and real-life exercises that help students think in English and communicate more effectively.
I teach with integrity by giving honest feedback and clear guidance so students can improve continuously. I also maintain flexibility by adjusting lessons according to each student’s level, learning pace, and personal goals.
In addition to ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills to ensure strong language foundations.
