About Ginnie
With more than 6 years of teaching experience, I am a dedicated Flute tutor teaching School students, College students, and working professionals in a calm and supportive learning environment. My tutoring style is organised and encouraging, focusing on breath control, posture correction, finger accuracy, tone clarity, rhythm precision, and musical expression.
Lessons are customised to suit each student’s learning pace and goals. In addition to flute training, I teach music theory, notation reading, sight reading, rhythm exercises, scale practice, ear training, and performance techniques to build strong musical understanding. I also guide students through exam preparation and help them develop confidence for performances. My goal is to help students learn flute clearly, steadily, and with enjoyment.

My teaching approach for flute combines clear communication, creativity, and flexibility to provide a structured yet enjoyable learning experience. I explain flute techniques in simple language, demonstrate exercises, and give step-by-step guidance to help students learn accurately.
Open communication allows students to share challenges and ask questions freely, ensuring they feel supported. Creativity is included through warm-ups, rhythm exercises, tone-building activities, improvisation, and expressive musical practice to keep lessons engaging and motivating.
Lessons are customised to match each student’s learning pace, goals, and skill level. Flute lessons cover breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading. Along with flute, I teach related subjects such as music theory, note reading, rhythm training, ear training, and performance skills to help students become confident and well-rounded musicians.
