About Alysia
I have a degree in contemporary dance, I taught children for over ten years but encouraged them to focus of the expression of dance rather than the technique. I now run a dance company that has different classes around my local area with over 150 women coming a week. I try and get the women to just be silly with their moves to break their barriers down and get them to just enjoy being crazy and allowing them to be free for 45 mins! I love what I do and its high intensity!

My teaching method is through humour and enthusiasm, I have a lot of energy and when the beat starts, I can't help but get into the music. My passion is to get people who don't usually dance to dance by playing around with humorous movements that they copy and help them see that it doesn't matter about what they look like but what they feel like dancing and what dancing can do for them physically and mentally. I find being a mum of 4 boys really tough and know how many other mothers struggle too but when I dance, I'm me and I feel free of anything else in my life! I want other mothers and fathers to feel free too like we used to when we went out clubbing!!!
