ABOUT ME:

Teaching is my passion, and I love nothing more than helping students develop their skills and planning fun and entertaining lessons.
My teaching philosophy is centered around creating a positive and engaging learning environment, where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves to learn new things.
My teaching style is focused on building a strong foundation of knowledge and then building upon it to help students reach their full potential. I believe that practice and reinforcement are key to mastering any subject, and I always provide plenty of opportunities for students to practice what they’ve learned.
I also like to incorporate real-world examples and applications into my lessons to help students see the relevance and practicality of their learning.
In my classes, I like to use a variety of teaching methods, including interactive presentations, group discussions, and hands-on activities.
Everyone has a unique learning style, and it’s my job to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs.
My goal as a tutor is to help you achieve your academic goals, help you build confidence in your abilities and develop a lifelong love for learning.

Every session and journy is built around the tutee needs and personality, aming to keep them engaged and stimulate their interest and indipendence.
Depending on the subjet tools will be used such as powerpoints, moodle, google classrom, kahoot, ecc...

Tutoring techniques that will be applied:

Questioning
The purpose of questioning is to get students actively involved in their learning by eliciting responses from them instead of giving them information.

The Socratic Method
This form of instruction is sometimes called the inquiry method. It is based upon a student’s current level of understanding of a subject. Questions progress from what the student knows, and progresses towards new ideas that the tutor guides the student toward with directed questioning.

Drills
Drills are series of questions with a controlled response and only one right answer, ideal for a subject that requires a lot of memorization.

Alternation
Alternation happens when a tutor and a tutee swap roles. This is especially useful for a class that features essay exams, where a tutee will need to explain things in a thorough, coherent manner.

Application
Making sure the  tutee can apply what they have learned with exercises and tests.
