About Ioana
Hi! I'm Ioana, and I live in Leeds. I'm friendly, and patient, and aside from my Economics and Spanish degree, I love learning languages, listening to music and seeing my friends. Having just done A-Levels a year ago, I can provide peer-to-peer lessons, creating a comfortable environment, where you can ask questions, and improve your learning. Not only do I have teaching experience in Spanish, but having done it recently, and achieved over 90%, I know the syllabus and requirements thoroughly and am committed to delivering a tailored teaching plan. I'm very well-organised and proactive and hoping to create a learning journey that is not only effective but enjoyable.

First lesson free - an opportunity to get to know a student and their Spanish level, to create a teaching plan. I am able to tailor teaching and communication to each student to ensure engaging and efficient lessons, ranging from 1-2 hours. I have experience in tutoring Spanish to GCSE and A-level students, and know that everybody learns differently. Regarding teaching, any aspect of the syllabus can be taught thoroughly, with various explanations and examples, to ensure in-depth understanding. I believe also in multimedia language immersion to increase a student's confidence, after they're strong in grammar and vocabulary. I achieved the highest grade in my year group at Spanish A-Level, and GCSE. I'm also currently studying Spanish at university, after achieving a 1st last year, and therefore am up-to-date constantly with my Spanish knowledge.
