Currently a second year student in the course BSc Computer science, on route for a First class Honours degree, my sector lies heavily in technology.
I have been awarded certifications from IBM for substantial computing abilities. I am somebody who strives to go above and beyond to develop my skill set. My IBM qualifications were achieved as a result of my efforts of seeking new information, within my sector, that exceeds the university content taught in a lecture. Discovering new knowledge from different institutions and companies provided me with new views of technology, which I can now apply to future problems.
Furthermore, my years of experience as a teach at Zenith Tuition services helped me develop my communication skills which I can now use for the future. During my time at Zenith, I would teach students Mathematics and Science materials for them to excel in their studies. I would provide explanations of methodologies in how we can make a complex task, much more simple. This would involve interacting with students to scope out their weaknesses and help them understand better or even different ways to tackle a given problem. If a student needed extra support, I would not hesitate to break down tasks further and provide step-by-step solutions so that they would be able to overcome their difficulties. I would also be in charge to monitor students progression using Microsoft technologies, in order to model and represent their progress. The use of IT was used by myself to enhance the teaching experience students at Zenith would encounter. Ultimately resulting in higher grades, easier learning experience and delighted parents
